I'm Devon.
People I know often describe me as kind, loving, adventurous, intuitive and fun. I love hiking, reading, especially historical fiction, watching movies, country music, and Jesus. I love to organize anything and everything... I may have some slight OCD, but who knows. My hobbies include gardening and home décor. I am a self proclaimed plant lady, a "mom" to 2 dogs and 2 cats, and a wife to my handsome and hard working husband Troy. I love food... eating it, cooking it, did I mention eating it!! I also enjoy playing softball. Yoga and rock climbing are my happy place.

My story
I started professional photography in the summer of 2021 after I decided that the camera that had been collecting dust in the top of my closet deserved to acquire some much needed use. Like many others, COVID gave me the opportunity to learn something new. I picked photography. Like most people I've been taking pictures on my iphone for years and had considered myself a hobbyist. But after moving back to the 505 from Utah and needing to find a new job anyway, I figured it was about darn time to turn this hobby into something more. And boy am I glad I did!
What I Do.. and Why
Photography is a love affair with life. I don't create the images taken by my camera. Life happens and I am lucky enough to be there to capture it. Mare Riboud said that "taking pictures is savoring life intensely, every hundredth of a second". I want nothing more than to savor life with you and your family. Wherever you are in life. Let me capture it for you!

Once we've connected we'll chat about what you're wanting out of the session, whether that's awesome photos to share with family, or simply just ONE picture where all your kids are smiling at the camera. You name it and I'll work to make it a reality.

Once I know a little bit about you and have an idea of the experience you'd like to create, I'll send you a style guide to make your planning easy and we'll set up a date and time to make it happen!
